Another Hub for Making Money With HubPages

making money online with hubpages can be done with a little hard work
I know what you are thinking…..another article on making money for your hubs on hub pages, you are right. The main purpose of everyone freelance writing is typically for revenue. Therefore, I am adding another article on making money through hub pages.
There are three basics needed to make money freelance writing for hub pages or any other article content site, quality content, tags and traffic. Every once and a while a little luck helps as well. There is no quick and easy way to make money online.
Quality content
As a writer you want any content that is associated with your name to be quality content. Be proud of what you write and others read. Make certain each article is better than the last for each publication on hubpages.
Readers want quality content and if you deliver it to them, they will become loyal. They will want more content from a great writer. This is how you can make a community or following for your content that will become loyal and continue to read your hubs. As a freelance writer the more you write the better you will become and the more quality content you will produce.
Separate yourself from the pack by offering quality content. Anyone can write. Simply put a couple of words down and arrange a paragraph or two and put it under a hub. Don’t become this type of writer. Allow whatever you create to add rich quality content to hub pages and any other site that your articles are being published to under your pen name.
Build your articles rich with keywords and keyword phrases. Keywords are translated to tags. Do not sacrifice your quality for quantity. In other words, don’t overdo the keywords so your writing suffers. Don’t overstuff an article with keywords. Make the hub rich with keywords but wonderful to read.
The tags you produce from your keywords are tied to the search engines to allow traffic to find your content. Traffic is searching for you, direct them to your content by using keywords that describe your hub.
You create the content and the traffic will come only if you direct them to where they need to go. Use tags correctly. Many hubs don’t receive the traffic they could or any traffic at all because the tags are used incorrectly.
Be sure and use all of the tags available for your content. A hub page has a wonderful tool that will provide suggestions for keywords/tags. Use the hub pages tool when you publish your article and after a couple of days come back to that hub and use the tool again to make certain you haven’t left out any tags that could cost you traffic.
Traffic, traffic, traffic
Traffic to your hub pages is what will bring you money. Traffic sources are links from other hub writer’s content, back links between your own hubs, search engines and social networking and bookmarking sites. These are all sources of excellent traffic for your hubs.
Spending 30-45 minutes per day using your social networks for traffic for your hubs is wonderful. Your networking time should be spent doing the following:
· Network on hub pages.
1. This includes reading and commenting on other hub pages. If you read and comment on other hub pages you will generally receive a read in return.
2. You can spend the time “hopping hubs” where you will receive various hubs from hub pages editors to review. This is a great way to meet new hubbers or hubbers you aren’t following yet.
3. Making new friends and reading their hubs. Voting hubs up or down as you see fit after reviewing them..
4. Following hubbers you have added as friends and respond to new hub followers fan mail received. There is a great deal of wonderful content on hubber's profile material. Take a moment to read these. They have indicated their websites, affiliations and other interesting information and subject matter. Lots of the hubbers have even displayed their best hubs for reading.
5. Answer questions, join discussions and posting on blogs. Many links are received from these sources.
One of your hubs may answer a question and you can include the link in your answer. If you have a lot of discussion on a topic, write a hub about the subject. I have received a ton of traffic from creating a hub to answer a question found on hub pages.
Create the hub and answer the question with a link to your new hub. This is a fantastic place to find to locate topics to create hubs around
· Sharing your hubs on your personal social networking sites such as Face book, Twitter, Stumble upon and others.
Many hubbers don’t share beyond the big two social networking sites. Did you know that Digg and Delicious combined receive over 3 million page views per day? That’s quite a lot of views for your content. This is traffic that could be coming to your hubs and making you money if you get that content in front of them.
It’s worth the time to join 4 or 5 different social networks for your content. Make friends on these sites and read their content and many in return will read yours.
Although 30-45 minutes per day doesn’t seem like a great time investment, you will find a wonderful return. If your day or week allows you to invest more in social networking, please do.
Sometimes luck plays a great role in receiving traffic. I wrote a couple of pieces on poker because the keywords seem to work great for one article site that I belong to. The three biggest poker sites on the internet were shut down within one day of posting these articles.
Within 24 hours I received over 1,000 page views for each article based on my keywords/tags and the poker sites misfortune. The page views have continued at a steady rate but the first influx of traffic was phenomenal. Unfortunately, my good fortune was due to their misfortune. Being in the right place at the right time does play a key role in receiving “luck traffic” to an article.
Making money is work. Freelance writing is hard work. To make money on hub pages you will need to work at it. These are tips and tools that can help make your efforts at making that money successful.

Informative well designed hub.
HI
more food for thought, useful hub

Having multiple Hubs on the same topic isn't a bad thing if each one brings new perspective and insight.
There is also the matter of every time you read one you get reminded of something else you know your supposed to be doing but just haven't started yet. Maybe this hub will give someone the kick in the pants to get moving.
I'd say a repeat of a lot of what is said elsewhere, but laid out nicely and without hype. A good resource I'd say. Might bookmark this one.

thank you dear for explaining it so beautifully. well written.
More great information here. luck is a big part of the game here. To improve your chances of getting "found" you can use Google Trends. You can see what things people are searching for and if it is increasing or decreasing. And like you said, quality is key. So many new users don't seem to get this concept.
thanks for the great information provided, really appreciated it. voted up

Interesting Hub smcopywrite.
Like you say, another hub on making money with Hubpages, but, like attending a seminar, a lot of the subject matter you already know, but you always (or nearly always) come away having learnt something new, or seeing something from a different perspective. Usually at a seminar you gain most from networking with other delegates. This is where the comments come in - you can learn as much from people who leave constructive comments as you can from the actual hub article.
